TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The agreement will be
only effective if agreed in writing by both the Company and the Client.
1. PAYMENT
1.1
The Client must sign and return to the Company the standing order
mandate authorising payment as specified on the agreement to be made by
the Client’s bank quarterly in advance. Such payments will
continue until this agreement is terminated.
1.2 The Client is
responsible for paying any housekeeper used by the Client at the agreed
hourly rate shown on the Agreement.
1.3
If the Client is to allow the Housekeeper the keys to any property,
then the Client will be responsible for the collection of the keys from
the Housekeeper.
1.4
Once the Housekeeper has commenced work we will levy a fee of 70%of the
standing order to cover costs, if the Client cancels within the first
13 weeks, however, if it is found that the Company is in breach the
money form the standing order will be returned.
2. STANDING
ORDER MANDATE
2.2
The Company will not forward the standing order mandate to the
Client’s bank until a Housekeeper has been allocated to the Client.
2.3
The Client is responsible for the cancellation of their standing order
mandate on termination of the said contract. If the Client fails to do
this the Company will charge an administration fee of £27.50
for
reimbursement of charges.
No refunds will be offered to the Client if there is a break due the
Client requesting a change of Housekeeper.
3. CLIENT
OBLIGATIONS
3.1
The Client is responsible for the employment of the Housekeeper and
agrees to pay the Housekeeper promptly upon completion of the work
carried out.
3.2
The Client is to provide cleaning equipment.
4. INSURANCE
Each
Housekeeper employed by the Client through the Company will be covered
by public liability insurance to a maximum payout of
£2,000,000.
The insurance policy is subject to a number of further terms and
conditions and further details are available from the company on request.
5. EXCLUSION
OF LIABILITY
5.1
The Company can terminate this agreement only by giving one
month’s notice in writing to the Client. The Housekeeper will
be
provide if this clause is used.
5.2 The Client can
terminate this agreement by giving on month’s notice in
wringing to the Company.
5.3
For a period of twelve months following termination of this agreement
the Client will not employ any Housekeeper who has been introduced as a
Housekeeper or Cleaner by the Company to the Client via the Company. If
any Client employs Cleaner or Housekeeper introduced by the Company
without paying the Agency fee, then the Company has the right to claim
and feed due plus recovery fees in the Small Claims Court.
5.4
If any Client should cancel this contract prior to cleaning commencing,
then the Company will chare a fee of 50%of the quarterly fee as shown
on the front of this Agency document.
5.5
If any time the Client indirectly or directly approaches the
Housekeeper or Cleaner to engage their services without the knowledge
of the Company and then cancels their agreement with the Company then
immediately the Company will terminate this agreement and no refunds
will be made and o charge of 12 months fees will be imposed and sought
through a Claim.
